“Karnataka Bank, has scheduled its 97th Founders’ Day celebration on Thursday, 18th February 2021 at 4.00 p.m. Owing to COVID-19 pandemic, Founders’ Day celebrations will be held through virtual mode on the Webex online platform. Dr. Gururaj Karajagi, Chairman, Academy for Creative Teaching, Bengaluru has consented to deliver the Founders’ Day Lecture. Dr. Gururaj Karajagi, a doctoral degree holder in Chemistry, has published over 22 research papers in International journals. He is a well-known columnist and author of many popular books. His fifteen books entitled “Karunaalu Baa Belake” are immensely popular among the readers and highly regarded in the literary circle. Through the Academy for Creative Teaching, of which he is the Chairman, Dr. Karajagi is instrumental in building over 85 schools of very high repute all over the world. He is generally considered as an institution builder. He has designed a complete curriculum on “Creativity” which is being used in different Universities. A teacher for over four decades, Dr. Gururaj Karajagi has travelled and lectured extensively both in the East and the West and has conducted more than 2000 training programmes for educational and corporate organizations” said Shri Mahabaleshwara M.S, MD & CEO of the Bank.

Speaking more about the event, Mr. Mahabaleshwara further said, “The event will be streamed live in Bank’s official social media handles on Youtube and Facebook. The link for the Webex online platform will be published in our website and social media handles on 17-02-2021 as well as in leading newspapers on 18-02-2021.Popular TV Channel of the coastal Region, “Namma Kudla” will telecast the event live. The Founders’ Day celebrations will also be broadcast live through ‘All India Radio’ Mangaluru. The programme will be presided by Shri P Jayarama Bhat, Chairman of the Bank”.
