Karnataka Bank donates Rs 25.00 lakh to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund of Karnataka State towards rebuilding flood affected Kodagu District

Karnataka Bank has donated a sum of Rs 25.00 lakh to Chief Minister Relief Fund Natural Calamity 2018.

Shri Raghavendra Bhat M, Chief Operating Officer of the Bank has called on Shri H D Kumaraswamy, Honourable Chief Minister of Karnataka at his office at Vidhan Soudha, Bengaluru and personally handed over the Bank’s contribution in the form of demand draft of Rs 25.00 lakh to the Chief Minister. Handing over the demand draft Shri Raghavendra Bhat M said “we are deeply pained to see our own brethren being severely affected in this natural calamity and we consider it as our bounden duty to offer ourselves in whatever possible ways in rebuilding their lives. We hope our contribution in this direction will help in the efforts of the State under the able leadership of Shri H D Kumaraswamy, Honourable Chief Minister to reclaim the title of Kashmir of South India by restoring the landscape, public infrastructure and above all by lifting the spirits of the affected people.”

Accepting the Demand Draft Shri H D Kumaraswamy, Chief Minister, thanked Shri Raghavendra Bhat M, for the kind gesture and wished the Bank all the best in its endeavours.
