Missed Call Banking

Missed Call Banking facility, as the name suggests, provides banking services such as balance & mini statement of account on customer giving a missed call from his / her registered mobile number to the designated phone number of the Bank without making any verbal request. The biggest advantage of this facility is that customer need not visit branch or ATM or even using internet and mobile banking and can get the information instantaneously on the mobile itself. The said facility is available to customers 24 x 7.

How to Avail the Service?

The customer has to register his / her mobile number with the Bank and once this number is linked with his / her operative account, he / she can avail the facility by giving a missed call to the designated phone number of the Bank. The facility is enabled to all the existing customers of the Bank who have registered their mobile numbers and which are linked to their operative account and the facility will be automatically enabled to new registrations by default.

Designated Numbers

Customers who wish to know/get their Balance or Mini Statement of his/her operative account, has to give missed call from their registered mobile numbers to the following designated toll free numbers of the Bank and will receive the required information through SMS on his / her mobile.

2 1800 425 1446 For Mini Statement

At present, this service is provided up to three times a day under ‘Balance Confirmation’ and ‘Mini Statement’ facility respectively.

Free of Cost Service

On dialing the designated phone number of the Bank, the call automatically gets disconnected and since it is a missed call, the telecom service provider will not levy any call charges. Further, the Bank is neither levying any charges to the customer for sending information through SMS nor collecting any upfront subscription fees. Hence, it is a “Free of Cost Service” to the customers.

Mobile Number linked to Multiple Accounts

In case the same mobile number is registered for multiple operative accounts, the system will recognize the latest operative account of the customer for providing Balance/Mini Statement. However, the customer can choose his/her desired operative account for availing the said facility by requesting branches to block/disable the same for other operative accounts.

How to Disable/Unsubscribe the facility?

If the customer doesn’t want to avail this service he/she can do so by submitting a request at the base branch.
