Boosting rural healthcare: Bank donates ECG machines to Udupi villages

Big Hearts Pump Life into Rural Udupi Healthcare! Good news for Udupi's villages! A local bank joined forces with Cardiology at Door Steps Foundation to donate 50 life-saving Electrocardiography Machines (ECGs) to Grama Panchayath Centres and Sub Centres. This means villagers no longer have to travel far for crucial heart diagnoses, thanks to readily available ECGs right in their communities.

Early detection of heart issues can be life-changing, and these ECG machines bring that possibility closer to villagers' doorsteps.

Key players in this heartening initiative:

-Shri Mahabaleshwara M.S., MD & CEO of the bank, handing over the first 10 ECG machines on October 30, 2021. Dr. Padmanabh Kamath, Managing Trustee of Cardiology at Door Steps Foundation, receiving the machines with gratitude.

-Key bank officials: Chief Operating Officer, Chief Business Officer, General Manager, and Assistant General Manager, all present to show their support.

-Representatives from local Panchayaths, ensuring the machines reach the communities they serve. This isn't just a donation, it's a beacon of hope:

Fulfilling Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR): The bank champions community well-being by improving healthcare access.
