Bank is now introducing WhatsApp banking as an additional Alternate Delivery Channel to provide seamless service to its customers. You can now avail a host of banking services easily through WhatsApp as a faster, convenient and secure platform to manage banking service needs.

  • Step-1: Register Yourself
    Save, Bank’s WhatsApp Business Account Number 9632188999 in your mobile contact list.
  • Step-2: Start Chatting
    Send us a “HI” on 9632188999 using WhatsApp platform and initiate the conversation by accepting the “Terms & Conditions” after providing the OTP that is sent on your mobile number.
  • ‘Available’ – 24/7 x 365 (even on holidays!).
  • Non-Karnataka Bank customers can also get the information related to Bank products, locate the Bank Branches/ATM’s/Office’s through WhatsApp Banking.

Yes, all messages are secured with end-to-end encryption. However, please note that you are not supposed to share any confidential banking information like PIN, CVV or OTP with anyone. Bank will never ask you for any such details.
There is NO service charges for using this service. However, charges will be applicable as per your data plan with the telecom service provider.
Account balance can only be fetched, if request is being generated through registered Mobile Number. So, you are requested to initiate a request with mobile number which is registered with the Bank.
All the existing customers with single customer ID having valid registered mobile number with the Bank and new to bank customers with valid mobile number can avail the facility by sending “HI” to the designated WhatsApp number of the Bank through their WhatsApp application. Further, he/she can accept the WhatsApp Terms & Conditions by sending the “OTP” triggered on his/ her registered mobile number through WhatsApp application chat window.
The facility is enabled to all the existing individual customers of the Bank who have registered their mobile numbers and which are linked to their active accounts with single customer Id and the facility is automatically enabled to new registrations by default.
Only, few selected non-financial services like Bank products, locate the Bank Branches/ATM’s/Office’s is available for the New to Bank customers.
